Types of Lumber
We typically carry a large supply of the following types of lumber:
Dimensional boards in multiple thicknesses, widths, and lengths
Mantel pieces
Wide slabs
Table leg blanks (2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 rift-sawn leg stock)
The vast majority of our wood grows within 25 miles of our location, and some of it grows on our farm. We do our best to maintain a wide selection of wood species, including native species and ornamental varieties. Though our inventory changes over time, we typically have some wood available from the following species and varieties:
Yellow Pine
(loblolly, Virginia, mountain, shortleaf, & longleaf pine)
Red Cedar
(eastern red cedar)

Other occasional varieties include honey locust, beech, basswood, sassafrass, osage orange, catawba, spruce, palmetto, pawlonia, and eucalyptus.
